Sight Word Lists & Resources:
Sight Word List Version 1: Lists 1-12 (Lists 1-2 in order of introduction, Lists 3-12 in random order). These lists are for initial assessment. These lists can be used in planning when to add words to the word wall.
Sight Word List Version 2: Lists 1-12 (each list in ABC order). These can be used to re-assess, so kids can't just memorize the order of the words from the homework list.
Sight Word Homework: Lists 1-12 (in the same order as List Version 1). These pages are formatted with directions to send home for nightly practice. As a child passes one list, the next list will be sent home for practice. (Note that even if kids memorize the list in order, they can be re-assessed with Version 2 which lists the same words, but in a different order.)
Sight Word Homework-ABC Order: Lists 1-2 (in the same order as List Version 2). These pages are formatted with directions to send home for nightly practice. As a child passes one list, the next list will be sent home for practice. (Note: remember to assess in a different order than the homework list you choose to send home.)
Sight Word List Fluency: Lists 1-12 formatted to promote quick multiple readings of the words on a list and to review words commonly mistaken on previous lists. This list is designed for 2nd grade fluency practice.
Sight Word Lists-One Page: Lists 1-12 formatted to fit on one double-sided sheet of paper. Some introductory information for parents is included above the lists, making this a great way to share all the sight words with parents.
Tracking Mastery:
Word Mastery Tracking Sheets: This sheet has tabs for each word list so that you can track students mastery of each word. To edit this, you will have a save a copy of this sheet to your Drive.
